Buku Music + Art Project will return to New Orleans on March 11 and 12, 2016. The fifth annual event will again be held at Mardi Gras World in the heart of the Warehouse District and just minutes away from the famous Bourbon Street.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 10. Two-day general admission passes start at $149.50 and VIP passes start at $299.50.
The artist lineup and further information will be announced soon. Last year’s EDM performers included Bassnectar, Porter Robinson, Fosstradamus, STS9, Borgore, Zomboy, Gramatik, and more.
The festival venue itself is reason enough to attend. An abandoned post-modern power plant serves as the backdrop for the main stage, while the EDM-focused Flat Den stage is housed inside the storage facility for many of the city’s Mardi Gras parade floats.
