Coachella to stream live performances from weekend one

onstage during day 3 of the 2012 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Field on April 15, 2012 in Indio, California.

One of spring’s most celebrated multi-genre music festivals, Coachella kicks off its sold out two-weekend run in Indio, Calif. later today.

Electronic talent of the weekend, showcased primarily in the “mega structure” Sahara Tent, includes the likes of Bassnectar, Infected Mushroom, Nicky Romero, Wolfgang Gartner, Tommy Trash, Thomas Gold, Knife Party, Benny Benassi, Moby, Richie Hawtin, Major Lazer, Fedde Le Grand, Bingo Players, Pretty Lights, Eric Prydz, Excision, Paul Oakenfold, and many more.

Coachella is as much a fashion and art show as it is a music festival, and the attendees list is a near who’s who in the pop celebrity world.

Couldn’t make it to SoCal for the one of two weekends? You’re in luck.

Coachella will be live streaming a number of sets from the weekend across three YouTube channels.
