Electric Forest confirms 2014 dates, loyalty tickets on sale Jan. 6

Electric Forest organizers today announced the fourth annual festival will return to Rothbury, Mich. on June 26-29, 2014, confirming our report from last week.

Tickets for loyal fans will go on sale Mon., Jan. 6, and to the general public on Tues., Jan 7.

Earlier today, fans were pointed to the Electric Forest website, which displayed a countdown to the video trailer’s synchronized debut at 2 p.m. CST. The site, developed by LessThan3, featured a live chat to allow fans to discuss throughout the launch.

A limited number of loyalty tickets — available to fans who purchased tickets in 2013 — will go on sale Mon., Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. CST. Loyalty general admission tickets are priced at $199 plus fees. Loyalty “Good Life Village” VIP tickets are priced at $499. Eligible fans will receive a code via email allowing them to purchase one GA or one VIP ticket at the loyalty price, available for 24 hours or while supplies last.

New this year is the “Three in the Forest” loyalty program, available to fans who’ve purchased tickets to all three previous years of Electric Forest. These fans will be guaranteed access to purchase two GA or two VIP tickets within the 24 hour loyalty presale.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Tues., Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. CST. Early bird tickets will be priced at $219 plus fees. “Good Life” VIP packages will also be available.

All ticket types, including loyalty passes, can be purchased via the layaway payment plan which requires 10% down on the date of purchase and four monthly payments afterwards.

This is the fourth year for Electric Forest, held annually on the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Mich. In 2013, an estimated 32,500 fans attended.

Colorado-based Madison House Presents produces Electric Forest in collaboration with California’s Insomniac Events, the minds behind Electric Daisy Carnival and a number of other festivals around the world.

Electric Forest provides one of the most unique festivals in the country. In addition to a diverse musical lineup, onsite camping, and the magical Sherwood Forest experience, the resort itself offers a variety of lodging options and amenities, a golf course, and even an on-site water park.
