STS9 announces first tour in nearly a year

STS9 will embark on their first tour in nearly a year this fall, stopping through 22 cities along the way.

“We couldn’t be happier to be hitting the road and playing some of our favorite towns and venues across the mid-west and east coast throughout the fall,” the band post on their Facebook page.

The month-long tour kicks off in Indianapolis on Oct. 9 and wraps in Austin on Nov. 8.

This will be the first tour since STS9’s bassist and founding member David Murphy announced he was leaving the group in January. Alana Rocklin has since replaced Murphy’s spot in the band.

Before embarking on this tour, the band will host a special two-night performance at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sep. 5 and 6.

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 2 via STS9store.com.
