BUKU Music + Art Project reveals final lineup additions

Organizers for the BUKU Music and Art Project today revealed the final lineup additions for the third annual festival, set for March 21 and 22 in New Orleans.

Highlights on today’s list include Nas, Sleigh Bells, Chance the Rapper, Carnage, Griz, Clockwork, Dan Deacon, Classixx (Live), Treasure Fingers, Young & Sick, and more.

Previously announced artists include The Flaming Lips, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Chrmoeo, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Zeds Dead, The Glitch Mob, Baauer, RL Grime, Paper Diamond, DJ Snake, Beats Antique, Conspirator, and more.

Also revealed today was the list of special VIP-only performances which includes Gaslamp Killer, Holy Ghost!, Ana Sia, and an interactive “twerk lesson” with Big Freedia.

While this year’s lineup is stacked with a wide variety of talent and genre, BUKU’s venue is what really set it apart from other festivals. An abandoned post-modern power plant serves as the backdrop for the main stage, while the EDM-focused Flat Den stage is housed inside the storage facility for many of the city’s Mardi Gras parade floats.

VIP ticket holders also enjoy a separate stage on board the floating S.S. BUKU riverboat, which also provides exclusive views of the main stage.

As an added plus, Bourbon Street is just blocks away, ensuring the after party can continue long after the festival ends.

Tickets are on sale now, currently priced at just under $170 for a two-day general admission pass and $400 for two-day VIP passes.
