BPM Festival announces phase one lineup for 10th anniversary edition

Mexico’s BPM Festival is heading into its tenth year and, to celebrate, organizers have released phase one of the 2017 lineup featuring over 100 artists and 20 showcases.

Held among the sunny and warm beaches of Playa del Carmen, Mexico from Jan. 6-15, The BPM Festival is a 10-day extravaganza of underground dance music spanning day and night parties across the town’s beaches and nightclubs.

What originally started as a post-New Year’s gathering of industry professionals has grown into a who’s who of the underground scene bringing together more than 70,000 music fans.

The first phase of The BPM Festival’s lineup is a highlights the best of house and techno with artists like Dubfire, John Digweed, Nicole Moudaber, Lee Burridge, Hot Since 82, and The Martinez Brothers making the bill. There’s also a selection of rising stars such as Lauren Lane, Christian Smith, Hector, Latmun, and Matthias Tannzman (see full graphic below).

This year’s BPM showcases feature industry leaders and innovators including parties hosted by Knee Deep in Sound, All Day I Dream, Diynamic in the Jungle, Nicole Moudaber Presents MOOD, Rumors, elrow, and many more. Romanian label [a:rpia:r] will also make its the BPM Festival showcase debut.

The BPM Festival 3-day opening weekend (Jan. 6-8, 2017), 3-day closing weekend (Jan. 13-15, 2017), 7-day (Jan. 9-15, 2017) and 10-day festival passes are on sale now exclusively at TheBPMFestival.com/tickets.

Payment plans are available to US residents for 7-day and 10-day passes. Festival pass perks include entry to all BPM events during the respective date range, line bypass, guaranteed entry (subject to venue’s legal capacity) in addition to discounts at over 125 local stores and restaurants.
