BUKU Music + Art Project reveals initial 2017 lineup

BUKU Music and Art Project organizers today revealed the first round of talent set to perform at the sixth annual festival, set for March 10 and 11, 2017 at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, La.

Included in the diverse list of artists are Deadmau5, Zeds Dead, ZHU, Tycho, Sleigh Bells, Washed Out, Jauz, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Nina Kraviz, The Floozies, Lido, Ghastly, Herobust, Minnesota, Space Jesus, Shiba San, Justin Jay, and more (see full graphic below). Additional performers will be announced in early 2017.

BUKU tickets go on sale this Thurs., Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. CT. General admission two-day passes are priced at $189.99. A variety of VIP ticket options will also be available.

The uniqueness of the festival’s venue — located in the heart of the Warehouse District and just minutes away from the famous Bourbon Street — is reason enough to attend. An abandoned post-modern power plant serves as the backdrop for the main stage, while the dance-focused Flat Den stage is housed inside the storage facility for many of the city’s Mardi Gras parade floats.

BUKU is produced by Winter Circle Productions (Goldenvoice/AEG Live) and HUKA Entertainment.
