Yes, the Big Easy is well known for its over-the-top Mardi Gras celebrations.
But now there’s even more to celebrate on the bayou as the BUKU Music + Art Project makes its second annual appearance in New Orleans on March 8 & 9, 2013.
The festival has proved itself to be a unique experience in the region, mixing electronic, hip hop and indie rock with local food and beverage vendors and interactive visual art installations — all within a post-industrial setting alongside the Mississippi River, just minutes away from the famous Bourbon Street and French Quarter.
This year’s lineup features headliners Calvin Harris, Flux Pavilion, Primus 3D, Zedd, Best Coast, Sander Van Doorn, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, Passion Pit, STS9, Public Enemy, Nero, Major Lazer, Flying Lotus, Datsik, R3hab, Big Gigantic, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, and so many more (full lineup below).
