Ever wonder what the grounds of your favorite festival might look like without all the people? Or better yet, in the middle of winter?
Yesterday, Electric Forest organizers took fans on an Instagram tour of the snow-covered Double JJ Resort, where the festival is set to take place June 26-29 in Rothbury, Mich.
Even though the trees may be bare and the weather far from pleasant, the sights captured in the photos still bring back fond memories of Forests of years past and spark anticipation for the fourth annual festival this summer.
You’ll notice only a handful of structures within the Forest remain standing year-round. Many are built just for Electric Forest each summer only to be deconstructed shortly afterwards and returned to storage for the year.
