Tiesto again tops list of world’s richest electronic DJs

As electronic dance music continues to explode in popularity, so are the wallets of those behind the booth.

Celebrity Net Worth has released its second annual list of the world’s richest electronic DJs.

Topping the list, for the second year in a row, is Tiesto. The Dutch DJ and producer rakes in an average of $250,000 per night, and has an estimated net worth of $75 million, up from last year’s $65 million.

Others in the top five include Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter ($60 million each), Paul Oakenfold ($58 million), and Paul van Dyk ($52 million).

The estimations are the sums of all music sales, merchandise, touring revenue, licensing, endorsements, real estate, royalties and more after subtracting taxes and recurring expenses.
