Insomniac Events and Live Nation form creative partnership

Insomniac Events CEO Pasquale Rotella today announced his company and Live Nation have formed a creative partnership, confirming rumors in May.

In a letter to fans, Rotella assured fans that the new partnership is a positive development.

“This partnership was created for you, the fans, to make your experiences better,” said Rotella.

Insomniac is the producer of Electric Daisy Carnival — taking place this weekend in Las Vegas — and several other festivals around the country as well as countless club shows.

Rotella says Insomniac will maintain control of the creative decisions and ticket pricing.

“The Insomniac team, lead by myself, will maintain complete creative control of all events, just as we always have, only now we will all enjoy access to a much larger and diverse variety of venues and resources,”

“Our ticket prices will continue to be fair and reasonable given the experience we provide and we will continue to surprise you and deliver more than we advertise.”

Rotella says they will not be forced to use Ticketmaster nor Live Nation venues because of the change.
